This short course is tailored to suit participants who wish to tow a caravan on Australian roads.

Upon completion of this course, applicants will be able to:

•   Identify the towing capacity of a vehicle
•   Identify the type of tow bar to be fitted to the vehicle and maximum load capacity of the coupling
•   Understand applicable legislation, regulations and codes in Australia and it’s states and territories
•   Know the type of equipment needed to fit the increase the trailers stability when being towed
•   Load the trailer correctly
•   Drive safely when towing
•   Perform safety checks prior to, and during a trip
•   Reverse and manoeuvre caravan/trailer
